Design Documentation Archive
============================

The Design Documentation Archive is a collection of
`the original design documents for ShaneAO <https://lao-backup.ucolick.org/sharedfoldercontent.html?t=5&p=LAO%20General/ShaneAO_KT_backup>`_
(these were formerly served
by shaneao.KnowledgeTree.com). The documents have
been pulled off the KnowledgeTree server
and put on a local server, lao-backup, for posterity.

Logging in to the document server
---------------------------------

`Connect to lao-backup <https://lao-backup.ucolick.org>`_

Please contact `the docsmeister <gavel@ucolick.org>`_
to get the user name and password

Once you have logged on, all further
`web links into the archive <https://lao-backup.ucolick.org/sharedfoldercontent.html?t=5&p=LAO%20General/ShaneAO_KT_backup>`_
will work.

Mounting the document archive to your PC
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

On a PC, you can see lao-backup under Network in the finder window.

On a Mac, you need to mount the network folder as follows::

    In the finder, Command-K
    smb://lao-backup.ucolick.org

(The Mac's default afp protocol doesn't work with this server)
